Wisconsin's New History Center​
The Wisconsin Historical Society collects, preserves and shares one of the most significant historical collections in the nation with 290 million items and counting. The future Wisconsin History Center will be a destination cultural attraction, providing unprecedented access to this distinguished collection and connecting the Society's vast resources to all 72 counties and beyond.
Museum Overview
PYRAMIDAL PRODUCTIONS in partnership with THE WISCONSIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY is dedicated to commemorating the 50-year anniversary of hip-hop in Wisconsin by establishing the "Wisconsin Hip-Hop Cultural Museum." This museum will serve as a dynamic and interactive space where visitors can explore the history, impact, and cultural significance of hip-hop within our local context. By showcasing artifacts, multimedia installations, and engaging displays, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for this dynamic cultural movement. This project aligns seamlessly with our organization's mission to celebrate and preserve the cultural heritage of our local communities.
The museum exhibit will be displayed at the US Bank Plaza on 1 S Pinckney St, Madison, WI, spring 2025 showcasing the music, art, dance, and socio-cultural impact of hip-hop, honoring local talent and its influence on the global stage.
Preservation
Preserve and showcase the history and artifacts of Wisconsin's hip-hop culture, including contributions from local artists, producers, educators, and pioneers.

Provide an educational platform for visitors to understand the roots and development of hip-hop and its impact on Wisconsin's communities.
